Through an expanded collage and performance practice, Hart provokes shared senses of intimacy and relation by probing audience’s fixed notions of subjectivity, identity and meaning; exploring the body as a preternatural site. By disrupting the borderspaces of the known and unknown, Hart invites audiences to challenge the architecture of their own identities, relations, and memory.

Hart graduated 2018 with First-Class Honours at the Queensland College of Art.

Her current research looks at the phenomena of transformation through connection, and co-poietic knowledge.

In 2015 Siena completed a summer residency with the New York School of Visual Art (USA), and has since completed artist-in-residences with House Conspiracy, In-Residence, and Soft Space (Netherlands). She has exhibited in various ARIs and galleries nationally, including Brisbane Powerhouse, PoP and Webb Galleries, Kunstbunker, Post Datum, Testing Grounds, Ventolin Artspace and the QLD Centre for Photography as well as the Brisbane Feminist Festival (One Woman Project) and Dark MOFO festival (The Void, Tasmania).
